Associate of Biblical Studies (A.B.S)
We offer a one-year course of study (the Associate of Biblical Studies program) to provide an opportunity for those who can’t commit to the two-year program. We designed this program especially to prepare high school graduates for college or the workplace by focusing on their spiritual growth for a year.
Like the two-year B.B.S. program, the Associate of Biblical Studies program involves intensive training and study. During each of the four quarters, students meet in class Monday through Friday for six hours, participate in daily chapel, and complete homework assignments during free hours and on weekends.
Curriculum
The Associate of Biblical Studies (A.B.S.) program is composed of 35+ distinct courses, producing 120 credit hours (roughly equivalent to 90 semester hours). The 1200 hours of in-class instruction are supplemented by daily chapel, annual workshops, congregational preaching, podcasting, local evangelism, and both domestic and foreign missions. For more information regarding how we train outside the classroom, see our page on experiential learning.
